My daily exploration of the Bible, taking it one chapter at a time. If I do it everyday, it'll take 1189 days.

2 Chronicles 4

The temple furnishings

Summary:
There were a bunch of basins and tables and lampstands and pillars which Solomon had made for the temple. They were mostly made of gold. There were a lot of figures of bulls and things.

Key verse:
11. So Huram finished the work he had undertaken for King Solomon in the temple of God

My thoughts:
There were many images of living things in the temple. This could be an indication that God's command not to make idols and graven images is not an all out ban on representing living creatures.
