My daily exploration of the Bible, taking it one chapter at a time. If I do it everyday, it'll take 1189 days.

Isaiah 40

All who are weary

Comfort God's people and let them know that they are forgiven. A voice calls for the path to be prepared for the Lord. We are like grass but God's word is forever.

If you bring good news then proclaim it loudly. Our God is so awesome we can't understand him! He looks after us.

Even all the nations cannot compare to him! He's better than any idol. He is massive and we are nothing. Don't you know this? He created everything!

You think that God has forgotten you, but God doesn't get weary. Every gets tired, but he strengthens those who wait on him.

Key verse:
31. but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

My thoughts:
This chapter is very encouraging with the tiredness we get here in Thailand. We have to wait on God! If you ever feel tired and weary then I recommend you meditate on this chapter!
