My daily exploration of the Bible, taking it one chapter at a time. If I do it everyday, it'll take 1189 days.

Ezekiel 41

More temple goodness

Summary:
Then came the outer sanctuary, which had sweet jambs, and then he measured the jambs of the inner sanctuary. This was the Most Holy Place. The temple had thick walls, with ascending side rooms which got bigger as you went up. Everything seemed to be about 50m long. The temple was decorated by alternatine palm trees and cherubim. The cherubim had a lions face and a human face. There was also a wooden table - God's altar.

Key verse:
4. He said to me, "This is the Most Holy Place."

My thoughts:
This is similar in style to the end of Revelation. Measurements seem to play a part in apocolytic literature.

Anyway, it looked something like this.
