My daily exploration of the Bible, taking it one chapter at a time. If I do it everyday, it'll take 1189 days.

Luke 21

God is the best shampoo ever

The amount you give isn't important, it's the amount of sacrifice you have to make to do it that counts.

The temple will fall, false Messiahs and prophecies will come. Christians will be persecuted, but stand strong and you'll be sweet. Jerusalem will fall to the Gentiles. Then Jesus will come back. Read the signs. Always be ready.

Key verses:
17-19. All men will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish. By standing firm you will gain life.

My thoughts:
Let's not forget that God has our back. We may be hated at times, but God has our back.

Anyway, much of this prophecy seems to directly relate to the fall of Jerusalem in 70AD, though it also looks to when Jesus will return. It seems that Eschaton events didn't happen as quickly as they expected.
